I have been involved with our chapter since 2013. I am a passionate outdoorsman and conservationist. As current chapter president, I hope to continue our chapter’s legacy of land purchases and restoration. Noone has benefited more from the habitat restoration this chapter has accomplished than myself, and I hope to pay it forward by leading our chapter in future acquisitions and projects. I credit many of the personal successes I’ve achieved in my life to the fact that growing up I spent much of my free time in the great outdoors. I hope to instill these same values in our youth. In my free time I enjoy chasing pheasants with Sage and Bay, my two yellow labs, on the numerous public hunting spots in our area.

I have been with the Mower County Habitat & Pheasants Forever Chapter since its beginning as a Co-Founder and have served as its treasurer for many years. I’m proud of what we have accomplished in our county but we still have a long ways to go. I hope someday that pheasant hunting in Minnesota will be half as good as it is in South Dakota. It is probably my highest passion.

My experience as a Co-Founder of Mower County Habitat & Pheasants Forever since its inception in 2001 has been very rewarding. I have seen several land purchases, youth programs and attended many fun banquets. I have attended every Pheasant Fest and encourage you to check it out. Being in radio and television for 40 years, I am now retired and try to winter in Florida as much as possible but still enjoy the activities of our local chapter and hunting pheasants in Mower county.

I have been a member of Mower County Habitat & Pheasants Forever for 10 years. I joined because I especially enjoy working with the youth. The investment in education and firearm safety that our chapter is providing our youth will pay great dividends down the road as they become adults in the hunting community.

I am one of the Co-Founders of Mower County Habitat & Pheasants Forever Chapter #670 and have been it's banquet chairman since 2000. I have hunted pheasants for over 50 years and have witnessed the huge reduction in habitat that is needed to support a good population of pheasants. It is my desire to bring back this habitat so future generations of hunters might get a chance to hunt this magnificent bird. Think Habitat!

I've been a member of the Mower County Habitat and Pheasants Forever Chapter since its second year 2002. I'm proud to have provided the legal services for every land acquisition the chapter has had or has been a partner in with other conservation organizations. It is my hope that setting aside these lands for future generations will ensure great pheasant hunting for the long term here in southern Minnesota.

I am the relative newcomer to the Mower County Habitat & Pheasants Forever Chapter #670 and have been a member for 7 years now. I am so impressed with the great work this organization is doing with habitat preservation and restoration. Since 2001 this chapter has set aside almost $2,000,000 in habitat for future generations to enjoy. What a great cause to be associated with!
